Neil McKnight is a highly experienced electrical systems engineer with extensive electric vehicle experience. With over 20 years of experience in controls, systems, and engineering, Neil has an excellent track record of systems analysis, design, development, and innovation, with proven success in problem-solving and project management.

Specifically, Neil has over 10 years of experience with lithium-ion batteries, electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicle drive, and control and monitoring systems. Prior to joining EVI, Neil spent 11 years with Valence Technology designing battery packs and automated machinery for battery manufacturing. He has 5 years of experience as an Applications Engineering Director, evaluating and configuring almost every type of electric vehicle in the market worldwide. Neil is a former software, firmware, automation, and electrical engineer with a passion for cutting edge technology.

Neil is originally from Belfast in Northern Ireland and has an Honors degree from Queens University Belfast in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
